Flintstone "Pebbles" Party

Who doesn't love the Flintstones? I am sure many of us have seen The Flintstones at least once in our lives and fell in love with their lifestyle in the Stone Age. Their memorable cars and elephant vacuum cleaners have simply marked our childhood. Here are some essentials tips to how to create a Pebbles Party your own way.

 Invitations:

Send out the invites with these lovely customize Pebbles theme invitation by Mimi's Dollhouse. Go to Mimi's Dollhouse to select this Pebbles invitation, add your photo, and provide all the party information. Once you are finished, order the invites, and wait for them to arrive. Make sure you do this ahead of time.

Cakes:

A few Pebbles and Dino figures adds a special touch to this particular Flintstones themed birthday cake! Tape a few balloons to the background to make this party look effortless, but very chic.

Snacks:

Who doesn't love cake pops? They are always ready to go and easy to grab for any party guest.

Fruit Pebbles Krispy treats is very appropriate for this Pebble themed party. Fruit pebbles can be found in any grocery or department store.Cook several marshmallow with some water and stir until the marshmallow is melted. Fill the pan with fruit pebbles and apply the hot dissolve marshmallow on top of it.  Place the pan in the oven and bake them for 20 mins under 350 degree. Once they are done, let your treats cool down and cut them in a square. Enjoy!

Favors:

Popcorn bag favors are truly the best. They are very tasty and yummy to chew, especially this pink colored popcorn with white sprinkles. Make your typical favorite popcorn and add water to empty bowl with a pint of food coloring. Once your popcorn is ready, lightly pour a little coloring to your popcorn and add some white sprinkles. Once they are finished drying, pour them in some clear party favor bags and seal it with a pink ribbon to finish your look. I hope your party guest enjoys them. If you can kindly give us some feedback, we'll love to hear how they turn out.
Games:

The Flintstones loved to bowl. So I think bowling will be perfect game for your Pebbles themed party guest to play together. Collect several empty soda bottles, add water, and add some individual food coloring. Find a long sheet to create a alley. Grab a ball, form a line, and start playing.

Dr. Seuss Day!

Throw on your comfy pajamas, make green eggs and ham, put on your cat in the hat and think of the places you'll go. Dr. Seuss's Birthday is Sunday, March 2 and there's plenty of ways you can celebrate!

Decorate:

Dr. Seuss coined many amazing quotes throughout his life. An awesome way to commemorate him is to print off some of your favorite quotes and frame them. You can also print out pictures from his books to add to the frames.

Example Quotes:

Today you are you, that is truer than true! There is no one alive who is you-er than you!

Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better. It's not.

Kid, you'll move mountains.

Oh the things you can find, if you don't stay behind.

There are plenty of Dr. Seuss decorations for your walls including Sally stick-ons from The Cat in the Hat.

My favorite decorating idea is DIY truffula trees! They're made from foam pool noodles, construction paper and tissue paper pom poms. This is an easy and cheap decoration!

Snacks:

One of the most popular Dr. Seuss books is The Cat in the Hat. While decorating your table it's easy to stick with a blue and red color scheme to represent this book. Fairly easy centerpieces for the table can be made by glueing hats and fish from the story onto colorful straws and securing the straws into mini pails or vases in the blue and red color scheme.

You can get creative with the snacks for your Dr. Seuss Party! Fill a pail or bowl with jelly beans and label them Truffula Seeds.

How cute is the Lorax? You can re-create him with your snacks. His body is made from vanilla wafers, his mustache is mandarin oranges and his two eyes are created with icing.

Everybody relates Dr. Seuss with green eggs and ham, so this is a must for your snack table. Melt a piece of white chocolate onto two pretzel sticks and place a green M&M on top and you've created your own sweet and salty version.

Games:

The kids will love making ooey, gooey, oobleck from Dr. Seuss's Bartholomew and the Oobleck!

Here's How:

Dump 3 cups of cornstarch into a big bowl. Add about 8 drops of neon green food coloring, and about 4 drops of regular green food coloring. Mix it all together. Slowly add in a cup and a half of water and mix together with your hands.

1 fish, 2 fish, Red fish, Blue fish!
Put as many colorful goldfish crackers in a fish bowl as you like and have the children guess how many are in the bowl. Whoever guesses closest, wins a prize! Perhaps a Dr. Seuss book?!

You're a mean one Mr. Grinch! Pin the heart on the Grinch is an awesome spin on pin the tail on the donkey.

Party Favors:

Fill a bag with blue popcorn and red swedish fish for guests to take home to represent 1 fish, 2 fish, Red fish, Blue fish!

Another party favor option is to put red, white and blue gum balls in a bag with a cute rhyming quote thanking guests for coming.

Example:

Oh me! Oh my! Thanks for stopping by!
