Pretty Pretty Princess Birthday Party

The princess party is a classic! Every little girl has at least one during their lifetime and remembers it for years to come. It has become such a staple that it can sometimes feel standard but there are definitely ways to make your daughter's stand apart from her friend's parties.

All craft stores carry these wooden rings in various sizes and with the addition of some ribbons, each little girl can have their own hand kite! This is becoming a growing trend at all types of gatherings and are most popular among children. The longer the ribbon the better. The princesses-in-training will twirl and dance away the day. Another way to impress the princesses is with a homemade castle pinata. You can find paper mache boxes, some even cylinder shaped, at local craft stores and then simply cover the castle with whatever colored tissue paper you want. Photo courtesy of Design Mom.

Crown and princess shoe cookies are so easy to make with the right cookie cutters. Once they are baked you can utilize icing and candy to make the cookies look realistic or bold and bright. Another option is to let the girls decorate their own cookies so they can personalize their treats. Photo courtesy of Catch My Party.

These would be great goody bags for the girls as they leave the Princess party.  They are durable enough that they may even become a new favorite purse they bring everywhere. The color scheme reflects each Disney princess style. Attaching a tutu really can glam up a plain cloth bag. Photo courtesy of Juxtapost.com.

Everybody has made square and circle cakes but not everyone sees the opportunity to turn them into a grand kingdom worthy of Cinderella herself. With some strategically placed candy, crackers, and ice cream cones your cake will knock everyone off their feet. Photo courtesy of Ivilliage.

The girls can each make their own tiaras custom to their style and, with this design, size of their head so it will  stay on all night throughout their princess business. Photo courtesy of Lemiga.

These princess pops will absolutely be a hit for your Princess birthday bash. You can make them using marshmallows dipped in pink chocolate or make pink cake pops. They will be adored simply because they are pink and filled with sugar so there really is no way to lose with these at your party. Photo courtesy of Your Home Based Parties.
