Having an Easter Party?

It is sometimes difficult to find fun activities to do with the kids but here are some really great ways to make sure they stay entertained and have fun at your Easter party this year.
Easter Bunny Cake
My family make's one of these every year and it is so much fun. You can do it by using two round cakes and cutting out the ears to make the bow tie. It's so much fun to decorate.

Be a Bunny
This is a really easy and cute bunny hat that the kids will love. Cut a rectangle that will fit around their heads, some bunny ears, glasses, and little teeth and they're good to go. Photo courtesy of Busy Bee Kids Crafts.

Bunny Basket
This Easter basket was made from an empty milk carton. Simply cut off the top and let the kids decorate it with googly eyes, cotton balls, pipe cleaners, paper ears, and whatever else they want to use. They can then use this later on during their egg hunt. Photo courtesy of Green Energy News.

Egg Hunt
Color coding the Easter eggs and baskets for the kids is a really good way to ensure that everybody gets a chance to find and get a good amount of eggs. You can also hide certain color eggs in harder places to find for the bigger kids. Photo courtesy of Sew Many Ways.

If the weather does't permit an egg hunt outside or even if you want to try something different a fun way to have a search party inside. You can make glow in the dark Easter eggs by simply putting a glow stick inside. It's a really creative way to add something new to your egg hunt. Photo courtesy of Kindness Girl.

Egg Decorating
Something the kids would love is to decorate their own eggs but dye can get messy. A simple thing to do is paint the eggs with chalkboard paint and then they can be drawn on over and over again. Photo courtesy of Style at Home.

Sometimes it is more fun though to get a little messy. If you use shaving cream and food coloring it will color the egg in the coolest tie dye pattern. You just wipe off the excess shaving cream. Photo courtesy of Tot School.

Sweet Treats
These cones are so cute and so easy. Just fill the ice cream cone with jelly beans and use a knife to carefully cut small holes in the side. Then just put the ends of licorice into these holes and you have mini Easter baskets. Photo courtesy of Delish.

Here are some awesome indoor smores. Place the bottom graham cracker , chocolate square, and a Peep in the microwave for not more than 15 seconds. The Peeps are soft after that and the chocolate is melted. Then just squish it all together with the top graham cracker. Photo courtesy of Eclectic Recipes.
