Follow My Heart

For eleven years, I dedicated my life to a Fortune 10 company.  Even while I was moving up the corporate ladder, my heart's desire was to have a family and be a stay at home mom (SAHM) one day.  My colleagues thought I had lost my mind.  No one could imagine me leaving Corporate America and being satisfied being a SAHM.

In 2007, I traded 8-hour marathon conference calls for round-the-clock feedings.  Despite the naysayers, I did follow my heart.  It was the best decision I ever made.  Now it hasn't been all grins and giggles, but it has made for the most fun and happiness I've experienced in my entire life.  Here's a day in my life, no seriously.   I did this promo with my darling daughters, they needed no script or acting experience required.  Our 30-second reality show!

While God blessed me with my heart's desire to be home with my children, I know there are some moms (and dads) that have the same desire but haven't gotten to that place yet. Working full time and managing a house makes it nearly impossible to plan the perfect party.  It is for this reason Funtique Parties was created.

We are in the business of building families one fun-filled celebration after another.  Whether it's planning a party or providing inspiration, we are sharing our journey with you.  Funtique Parties are always fun, trendy, and unique!
