Hello Kitty Birthday Party Ideas

Many little girls love frilly, cute, and pink. Something that has all of those qualities is Hello Kitty. She has been such an icon over the years and across the world to young girls as well as adults. She shows young women that they don't always need to cake on the makeup and wear expensive clothes and jewelry, that just a simple pink bow can be all you need to look and feel like a million bucks.

The classic and timeless elements of the most popular cat worldwide are clearly demonstrated here. These cookies could be easily made at home with the right cookie cutter and a little embellishment with the frosting.

How much easier could these party invites get??? All the materials needed can be found strewn throughout the house and they will be the quickest hand-made invitations you will ever send out but they still make an impacting statement.

Pink, pink, pink, pink, pink! Your party area will be dripping in pink for this birthday bash and all the girls will love it. Tablecloths, plates, napkins, cups, balloons...EVERYTHING...will be some shade of pink!

Something really cute to give all the girls are these Hello Kitty headbands. You can even make them yourself with a little fabric. Great for the goody bags or to hand the girls as they walk in the door and join the party.

This project is for the craftier party planner but it is definitely worth the effort. If you still want this at your party but don't think you can handle it, talk to your local florist and try to work something out.

This may look like regular strawberry milk, and it is, but by presenting it in these glass jars and adding the small embellishment to the straws this classic drink is kicked up a notch. Just another example that presentation can make an ordinary aspect of any party so much better.

Pretty Pretty Princess Birthday Party

The princess party is a classic! Every little girl has at least one during their lifetime and remembers it for years to come. It has become such a staple that it can sometimes feel standard but there are definitely ways to make your daughter's stand apart from her friend's parties.

All craft stores carry these wooden rings in various sizes and with the addition of some ribbons, each little girl can have their own hand kite! This is becoming a growing trend at all types of gatherings and are most popular among children. The longer the ribbon the better. The princesses-in-training will twirl and dance away the day. Another way to impress the princesses is with a homemade castle pinata. You can find paper mache boxes, some even cylinder shaped, at local craft stores and then simply cover the castle with whatever colored tissue paper you want. Photo courtesy of Design Mom.

Crown and princess shoe cookies are so easy to make with the right cookie cutters. Once they are baked you can utilize icing and candy to make the cookies look realistic or bold and bright. Another option is to let the girls decorate their own cookies so they can personalize their treats. Photo courtesy of Catch My Party.

These would be great goody bags for the girls as they leave the Princess party.  They are durable enough that they may even become a new favorite purse they bring everywhere. The color scheme reflects each Disney princess style. Attaching a tutu really can glam up a plain cloth bag. Photo courtesy of Juxtapost.com.

Everybody has made square and circle cakes but not everyone sees the opportunity to turn them into a grand kingdom worthy of Cinderella herself. With some strategically placed candy, crackers, and ice cream cones your cake will knock everyone off their feet. Photo courtesy of Ivilliage.

The girls can each make their own tiaras custom to their style and, with this design, size of their head so it will  stay on all night throughout their princess business. Photo courtesy of Lemiga.

These princess pops will absolutely be a hit for your Princess birthday bash. You can make them using marshmallows dipped in pink chocolate or make pink cake pops. They will be adored simply because they are pink and filled with sugar so there really is no way to lose with these at your party. Photo courtesy of Your Home Based Parties.

Minnie Mouse Birthday Party

My darling daughter has requested Minnie Mouse as her 4th birthday party theme.  For the colors, I'm using pink, white, and black.  Polka dots are a must too.  Here are some of my inspirations!

I'm obsessed with dessert tables in lieu of a birthday cake only these days.  These are adorable!

Love these plates!

I will absolutely be doing this!  Haven't decided if it will be over the cake table or outside the front entrance.

Here are some free Minnie Mouse printables in pink, white, and black.
